Dr. Christine Della Polla
PT.DPT
Pelvic Floor + Orthopedic Specialist
Christine is a licensed physical therapist at Rebalance Physical Therapy & Wellness, where she specializes in pelvic health and orthopedic rehabilitation. She is particularly passionate about supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and pelvic pain, and is currently pursuing advanced certification in pregnancy and postpartum care to further deepen her expertise in this area.
Christine earned her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Scranton. Following her training, she gained experience across a variety of clinical settings, developing a strong foundation in outpatient orthopedics. She treats a wide range of conditions, including low back, hip, and ankle dysfunction, while integrating a whole-body, functional approach to care.
Her interest in pelvic floor therapy became more focused after experiencing pregnancy and motherhood firsthand. As a mother of two, Christine brings both clinical knowledge and personal insight into her work, allowing her to better understand and support the physical and emotional challenges that can arise during pregnancy and the postpartum period.
Christine works with women across the lifespan and has a particular interest in pelvic pain, pregnancy-related musculoskeletal changes, and postpartum recovery. Her treatment approach is hands-on and individualized, combining manual therapy, targeted exercise, and patient education to help restore strength, improve function, and support long-term wellness.
She is also trained in dry needling and incorporates it into both orthopedic and pelvic floor treatment plans when appropriate. By addressing myofascial restrictions and neuromuscular dysfunction, dry needling serves as an effective complement to her broader treatment approach.
Christine is known for her warm, supportive style and her ability to build meaningful connections with her patients. She believes that feeling heard and understood is an essential part of the healing process and works closely with each individual to help them feel confident and empowered in their recovery.
Outside of the clinic, Christine enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and being outdoors—especially at the beach. Originally from Northern New Jersey, she has lived in the Philadelphia area for several years and values being part of a strong and connected local community.
