Pelvic Floor + Orthopedic Specialist

Rhythm Sampat is a licensed physical therapist at Rebalance Physical Therapy & Wellness with over 12 years of clinical experience. She specializes in the integration of orthopedic manual therapy and pelvic floor rehabilitation, with advanced training in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal dysfunctions of the spine, pelvis, and sacroiliac joint.

Rhythm earned her Master’s degree in Physiotherapy and is a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT). Her clinical approach is grounded in evidence-based practice, with a strong emphasis on biomechanical analysis, functional movement, and hands-on manual therapy to address both orthopedic and pelvic health conditions.

She works with individuals across the lifespan and has a particular interest in pelvic pain, pregnancy-related musculoskeletal changes, and postpartum recovery. Rhythm is passionate about supporting women through pregnancy and the postpartum period and is currently pursuing advanced certification in pregnancy and postpartum rehabilitation to further expand her expertise in this area.

Her treatment approach is individualized and comprehensive, addressing conditions such as pelvic pain, incontinence, prolapse, and core dysfunction, as well as a wide range of orthopedic injuries. She integrates manual therapy, breath retraining, and functional movement strategies to restore efficient movement patterns and support long-term outcomes.

Rhythm is also trained in dry needling and incorporates it into both orthopedic and pelvic floor treatment plans when appropriate. She utilizes dry needling to address myofascial restrictions, improve neuromuscular function, and enhance overall treatment effectiveness as part of a broader, integrated approach to care.

Having practiced in both India and Singapore for over a decade, Rhythm brings an international perspective to her work. Her experience across diverse healthcare systems has shaped a holistic, patient-centered approach that emphasizes both clinical precision and individualized care.

In addition to her clinical practice, Rhythm is actively involved in pelvic health education and mentorship. She develops educational resources, mentors physiotherapy students and clinicians, and advocates for improved access to pelvic health services across South Asia. She is fluent in English, Hindi, Gujarati, and Malay, allowing her to connect with a diverse patient population.

Outside of the clinic, Rhythm enjoys staying active through exercise, yoga, and dance. She values spending time with her two children and traveling with her family, and her experiences across countries including Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Japan, and Australia have contributed to her appreciation for diverse cultures and approaches to health and wellness.
