Meet the Rebalance Team: Kimberly Le, PT, DPT

Kimberly Le.

We are excited to introduce two new clinicians to the Rebalance team! Kimberly Le grew up in the greater Philadelphia area where she received her Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology from Temple University. While at Temple, she developed her passion for nutritional wellness, physical fitness, and cultural enrichment from work with the student-run food co-op, running club, and Asian Student Associations. She later earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Temple and found a calling for pelvic floor rehabilitation after witnessing the unique impact that physical therapy made on pregnant and postpartum moms and chronic pelvic pain patients.

Kimberly has training through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute as well as extensive clinical experience treating bladder, bowel, and sexual dysfunctions and complex hip and low back conditions. She has worked closely with OBGYNs and completed several social media projects to promote pelvic health and rehabilitation in her community. She wants to continue raising more awareness for pelvic floor dysfunctions and empower females and males to live their best lives through health and wellness.

In her spare time, Kimberly enjoys running, hiking, traveling, watercolor painting, concerts, and exploring coffee shops.

Kimberly finds motivation in her work at Rebalance by being a strong advocate for her patients. She says, “… being an advocate plays a huge role in my patients’ care. It can be upsetting when patients tell me they felt unheard, ignored, or overlooked by other practitioners. I understand that it can be frustrating and discouraging, especially when it involves the pelvic floor. Pelvic health is a complex (and unfortunately, misunderstood) specialty that still needs more public awareness and education around it. This challenge motivates me to be the person who listens and understands the details, fills the gap in knowledge about pelvic health issues, and guides them towards a plan of care that helps people achieve their functional and personal goals.”

Kimberly shared one of her favorite quotes with us from her high school math teacher.

If it don’t challenge you, it don’t change you!

She says, “I loved the simplicity of this quote and the fact that the person who said this was an inspiring man who wasn’t afraid to be himself. In retrospect, I really applied this to many endeavors after high school. I’m shocked to realize that I was able to pursue half the physical challenges in my life as I am very much afraid of heights. Or going out and meeting new people who eventually became important people in my life, because I can be a bit shy at first. I continue to recite this mantra in my head whenever I feel the slightest bit of doubt. It reminds me that in order to grow, I must get out of my comfort zone.”

We are so excited to welcome Kimberly to the Rebalance team! Contact us to schedule a consultation with Kimberly today.
