Frequently Asked Questions

Does insurance cover physical therapy at Rebalance?

Due to the holistic and extensive hands on nature of our treatment, we are considered out of network with all insurances.

The reason for this is being in network with insurances does not allow us to practice in a manner that is BEST for our patients. Insurance companies often dictate what can and cannot be done during treatments. They also do not cover things such as dry needling and other modalities that are often time essential for our clients to get better. Our goal is to put the client first so we can get you results fast.

Do I need a physician referral for PT in PA?

You do not need a physician referral to see a Rebalance physical therapist for an evaluation. Once we we start treatment then a referral to physical therapy is needed after the first 30 days of treatment as part of our state board practice act. Since we are considered out of network with insurances, if you decide to seek reimbursement with your insurance provider then there is a small possibility that they will need a referral. However, we have found that most insurances do not require a referral to seek reimbursement. You can book your appointment directly without a referral.
