I always love doing this lecture and I do them frequently throughout the year. These residents are so enthusiastic and always a pleasure to speak and talk to. It’s so important that the community and our fellow physicians and health care providers understand this topic and how to appropriately diagnose and manage anyone dealing with this pain. It was not so long ago and even currently that patients are often thought of as a “psychological” disorder around pelvic pain. I am happy that I can be a part of those constantly improving the world’s awareness on this topic.
