EXCELLENT Based on 150 reviews Andreanne ClerouxJune 30, 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Wonderful care. I was evaluated by Christine Della Polla and she was co incredibly caring, detail oriented, and thorough. Could not be happier with the care provided! Thank you Lillian MittlemanApril 22, 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Christine at Rebalance PT is a miracle worker! After just one session (after bladder prolapse repair), I felt some relief. She explains the problems and solutions well; uses a variety of techniques (massage-like therapy, acupuncture, cupping); and offers helpful home exercises. Only drawback is that Rebalance doesn’t accept insurance. However, they do provide the superbills needed to submit for reimbursement and are trying a service that will file your claims for you ($4 per bill - I think) for a fee. Nancy ChernettMarch 28, 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have PTs over the past 2 years that have both contributed to reduction of pain in my glutes and piraformas and a functional scoliosis of my back, which is almost undetecable. Working with a pelvic floor PT has been just the thing I needed after seeing a variety of specialists and therapists. I am now back at the gym, supporting my gains and getting stronger. Kim has been wonderful. As things change she has helped me adapt to new exercises and is very supportive. Nicole SudimakMarch 14, 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Joanna Hess is SO GOOD. Postpartum sciatic pain is almost non existent after seeing her. Darlene BrooksMarch 6, 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. NICK WAS WONDERFUL. Thoughtful, kind, gentle and interested in helping me improve. He was thorough in his assessment, and offered recommendations within my abilities. I highly recommend this therapist. chelsea kurtzOctober 31, 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Kim at Rebalance has helped me tremendously. She was able to isolate quite quickly what was causing pain I’ve been having for years. The location is easy to park at, front desk is helpful, and the facility is clean. Highly recommend! Peggy WonderOctober 10, 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very positively impressed- from the warm greeting at the door to Dr Shanis’ warmth, sensitivity, attentiveness and depth of knowledge, to even the aesthetics of the stone-themed restroom. I left feeling well-informed, more hopeful and so grateful! Vicky WeinsteinSeptember 22, 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My son came here for crutch training before a knee surgery. We saw Nick. He was excellent. Very professional, knowledgeable, patient, and full of encouragement for my son. I would highly recommend. Rachel AmdurJuly 17, 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Rebalance Physical Therapy is nothing less than amazing! Due to knee and hip issues, I have done countless sessions of physical therapy at countless places over the last 20 years. It wasn't until I started with Rebalance PT that I started to see real results. Hina and her team are true partners in my health. They work with me on how to build muscles, find the cause of the pain, as well as the treatments like deep tissue massage, dry needling, cold laser and other treatments. Every session is a dedicated hour of attention, not someone occasionally "checking in" while I am exercising. I have found true healing at Rebalance PT! Sarah PremJuly 8, 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We come weekly for bodywork, and it has really supported us to stay healthy and well. The physical environment is clean and welcoming. And it feels peaceful to be here.
We support our clients with effective healing after childbirth, helping with conditions such as
pelvic pain,
diastasis recti,
prolapse,
c-section or tear complications, and muscular strains. Our PTs are highly skilled, knowledgeable, and empathetic; we understand the physical and emotional challenges of the postpartum period, and many of us are parents too!
Pregnancy can lead to nerve pain conditions such as thoracic outlet syndrome,
Piriformis syndrome, and
Sacroiliac joint pain (which feels like sciatica – another common issue during and after pregnancy).
Physical therapy can greatly ease nerve palsy or weakness, naturally and without drugs or surgical interventions.
Neck pain and
back pain are common after childbirth, particularly post-partum, due to systemic imbalances (challenged further by feeding and carrying). Additionally, new parents often suffer from conditions such as
carpal tunnel syndrome,
rib pain, and even plantar fasciitis; all of which we treat.
Joint pain can occur during and after pregnancy, and conditions such as coccydynia and sacroiliac joint pain (which feels like sciatica – another common issue during and after pregnancy) can become debilitating.
Many new moms have a degree of
pelvic pain and pelvic floor dysfunction, including
incontinence and pelvic girdle pain (or pubic symphysis dysfunction), which can be incredibly painful and lead to issues with everyday movement. Our
pelvic floor therapy services accelerate your healing journey.
No, we don’t do aesthetics here, but we do help our
postpartum clients tackle everything from prolapse (bladder, bowel, and vaginal), to abdominal wall splits (diastasis recti), and leg and vulvar varicosities (more commonly known as varicose veins!) We can also help with issues such as pain during intercourse, bowel dysfunction, and
C-section recovery.
As well as 100% hands-on manual therapy (which is by far the best kind of physical therapy available, and the most advanced for practitioners to master), we offer a wide range of complementary and holistic physical therapy services at our Philadelphia clinics.
Where appropriate, these can enhance results and accelerate healing outcomes, and help our patients to become strong, mobile, and fully functional as they transition from the postpartum period to active parenthood! These services include the Graston Technique, cold laser therapy, dry needling, hypopressives, medical therapeutic yoga, trigger point release, and visceral mobilization therapy.
At Rebalance Physical Therapy in Philadelphia, we completely understand how emotionally and physically demanding the postpartum period is, especially if you have birth injuries, physical pain or discomfort, or a condition that you’re trying to manage along with your new baby!
Our physical therapists are supportive, empathetic, and hugely empowering. Many of us, including our founder, Hina Sheth, are parents too, and we know how overwhelming the postpartum period can be! You will feel instantly relaxed, grounded, and taken care of when you visit Rebalance PT.
We offer appointments in-person, at home, and via telehealth, as well as education resources that can be accessed online. Schedule a free 15-minute consultation to find out more.
Yes! We have a series of patient education video resources, including free videos and entire courses, which you can take to tackle a range of conditions at home. Our courses are delivered in video format by Rebalance PT therapists and cover topics such as female pelvic pain solutions, vaginal delivery solutions, c-section solutions, and pelvic stability, and offer the same high level of guidance and instruction, but from the comfort of your home.
