Practicioner
Meet Danielle, a licensed physical therapist with a passion for movement, healing, and helping others thrive through all stages of life. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and went on to complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Ithaca College.
Danielle launched her career as a traveling physical therapist, spending four years exploring the country and gaining invaluable experience across diverse clinical settings. This journey allowed her to treat patients in a variety of environments, connect with people from all walks of life, and quickly adapt to new challenges. When the time came to put down roots, Danielle and her husband were excited to return to their hometown of Philadelphia.
Her clinical background is rooted in outpatient orthopedics, with additional experience in skilled nursing facilities and acute care. Danielle is comfortable treating a wide range of diagnoses and enjoys working with patients throughout all stages of life. She believes physical therapy is a powerful tool to support graceful aging and enable people to continue doing what they love. Her orthopedic specialties include the shoulder, knee, and foot/ankle complex. Danielle has extensive postoperative experience treating rotator cuff repairs, ankle fractures, total joint replacements, and ACL/meniscus repairs. She also enjoys treating patients who are months-years post op who feel that they have yet to fully recover from their injury.
Danielle enjoys working with the athletic population and is passionate about helping athletes return to the sport they love. She believes that physical therapy goes beyond just corrective exercises—it’s about empowering individuals through education, functional movement, and personalized care. Danielle understands that returning to sport after an injury can feel overwhelming, and she is committed to guiding her patients every step of the way with encouragement, expertise, and a comprehensive rehabilitation approach.
Danielle has begun expanding her expertise into the field of pelvic health. She is enthusiastic about treating pelvic floor conditions, including prenatal and postpartum care, dyspareunia, and pelvic pain. Her holistic, full-body approach makes pelvic health a natural extension of her practice, recognizing the deep connection between all systems of the body.
She is certified in dry needling and integrates a variety of manual therapy techniques into her treatment approach, including Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) and cupping. Danielle places a strong emphasis on manual therapy as a key component of rehabilitation, using hands-on techniques to reduce pain, improve mobility, and restore normal muscular and fascial tension. These methods help facilitate better movement patterns, decrease inflammation, and accelerate tissue healing. By addressing both the symptoms and underlying biomechanical imbalances, she aims to optimize performance and support long-term recovery.
Outside the clinic, Danielle is deeply passionate about the outdoors. She lives by the belief that movement is medicine—and her favorite place to move is outside. She’s an avid hiker, trail runner, and backpacker, often seeking long-distance endurance adventures that challenge her physically and mentally.
Danielle is goal-driven and patient-centered. Whether your goal is to summit a mountain or simply climb the stairs without pain, Danielle is committed to helping you get there—stronger, healthier, and more confident.
